4.    DATA COLLECTION ON THIS WEBSITE

Cookies

Our websites use so-called "cookies." Cookies are small data packages and do not cause any damage to your terminal device. They are stored on your terminal device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Persistent cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

Cookies may originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services provided by third-party companies within websites (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to evaluate user behavior or for advertising purposes.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions requested by you (e.g., for the shopping cart function), or to optimize the website (e.g., cookies for measuring the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG); consent may be withdrawn at any time.

You can configure your browser to inform you when cookies are set and to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or generally, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. Disabling cookies may restrict the functionality of this website.

Where additional cookies and services are used on this website, you can find information on them in this privacy policy.

When you enter our website, a connection to CCM19's servers is established in order to obtain your consent and other declarations regarding the use of cookies. CCM19 then stores a cookie in your browser in order to associate the consent you have given or its withdrawal with you. The data collected in this way is stored until you ask us to erase it, delete the CCM19 cookie yourself, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

CCM19 is used to obtain the consent required by law for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1), sentence 1, point (c) GDPR.

The legal basis for this type of processing is our legitimate interest in obtaining an overall impression of publicly available information about you pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Retention Period for Data

If we are unable to offer you a position, if you decline an offer, or if you withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for up to six months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data will then be deleted and any physical application documents destroyed. In particular, retention serves evidentiary purposes in the event of a legal dispute. If it is evident that the data will still be required after the end of the six-month period (e.g., due to a threatened or pending legal dispute), deletion will take place only once the purpose for the extended retention no longer applies.

A longer retention period may also apply if you have given corresponding consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Inclusion in the Applicant Pool

If we are unable to offer you a position, it may be possible to include you in our applicant pool. If you are included, all documents and information from the application will be transferred to the applicant pool so that we can contact you if suitable vacancies arise.

Inclusion in the applicant pool takes place exclusively on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Giving consent is voluntary and is not related to the ongoing application process. The data subject may withdraw his or her consent at any time. In this case, the data will be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool unless there are statutory grounds for retention.

The data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been given.
